Now there is a group of incredibly cute people who express happiness and the spirit of Web3 through doodles. They are not famous artists, but when I see their doodles, I am reminded of the joy of doodling in my childhood. In terms of painting techniques, the works are not particularly skillful, but most of them are fun and adorable! For example, the image below:

Project Origin:
One of the founders of the MY Flower series, Jie@LTChives, described the original intention of the project as follows: "Humans have an innate love for flowers, which is engraved in our genes. In ancient times, places with blooming flowers indicated abundant sunlight and fertile land. Places with flowers meant a good environment and the presence of fruits to eat. Therefore, people feel inexplicably happy when they see flowers. I have never learned to paint, but I hope my flowers have a healing effect and bring you a good mood. This is also my motivation to keep painting."

Project Introduction:
The MY Flowers project was first mentioned by Jie@LTChives, one of the key members, in the Genesis phase (the first phase), which was proposed on February 23, 2022. Jie@LTChives created high-quality and cute PFP works with a mouse based on fan comments, and finally minted them on the Ethereum blockchain. There are a total of 132 1/1 small flowers, which were publicly sold on opensea in January 2023, with a royalty fee of 10%. Since I discovered the project in the second phase, I will only describe the content of the second phase.
The second phase of the My Flowers project is called "We are flowers" (let's challenge those NFT artists with our doodles!). Jie@LTChives initiated this phase on Twitter on January 15, 2023, calling on everyone to create their own doodles on the mother smiley face without any restrictions. Each NFT is still a handmade 1/1 artwork. "We are flowers" has completed 1888 doodles as of February 19, 2023. Due to the unrestricted theme, the content of the works is very diverse, including cute characters, abstract flowers, Q-version world-famous paintings, etc. Each artwork is very interesting (looking forward to being listed on the blockchain~). In the Twitter post, the project team stated that they will use 100% Freemint to release the NFTs and there will be no royalty fee. This means that the project team will not simply profit from the sale of the project. This demonstrates that the purpose of the We Are Flowers project is not to make profits, but to create a fun and highly interactive NFT community.
In fact, at the beginning of the second phase, the community members communicated and created together in a WeChat group. Later, due to the expansion of the community and the increase in project influence, the community moved to Telegram and Discord. The Discord community currently has 8123 members (I have also joined the community). Many community members share their works, exchange artistic creation experiences, discuss NFT market trends, and the project team sometimes provides small benefits in the group. Overall, the community members and the project team are quite active, always bubbling with activity. This also aligns with the project's purpose of "practice driven by passion, not for profit". I also believe that with the gradual efforts of the We are flowers community members, the artworks will become more valuable and the community will become more mature, providing more online and offline communication opportunities for community members in the future.

When I first entered the NFT industry, I also joined the communities of other NFT projects. I knew why they gathered together, but I could never fit into their communities. However, when I saw the works shared by the creators of the My Flowers project, I suddenly understood why they were willing to come together to do the same thing, and it made me very excited.
One of the most attractive aspects of this project is the spirit of Web3 it embodies. In most NFT projects, the identity of the artist is always unattainable. But in We Are Flowers, the identity of the artist is made up of enthusiasts from all over the world. In addition, decentralized NFT projects should have decentralized contributors from around the world, which allows people to focus more on the artworks themselves rather than who created the project and their background. We Are Flowers adopts a completely community-driven approach, breaking the traditional production model of NFT projects (where a few people decide and create NFTs). This decentralized creative approach allows everyone to have the opportunity to participate in the creation and contribution of NFTs, aligning with the spirit of Web3. Such projects should receive more attention and support, so let's join We Are Flowers and become a group of happy NFT artists!
